Numbering, perforating, scoring & slitting systems
Graphic Whizard manufactures the only friction feeder that consistently and accurately feeds any sized pre-padded carbonless sets from the unglued side. With a Graphic Whizard you can create snap sets while you number.
Modular Design: Any GW model can be upgraded to any other GW model. The benefit: you never have to trade in your existing machine for a more productive one. If you outgrow it, simply upgrade it.
CM & PT Series Creasing/Impact Scoring Systems
The PT Series crease/perf/fold machines are designed with the digital marketplace in mind. These systems impact score materials prior to folding, eliminating the problem of toner cracking on digitally printed stock. Models range from manual to fully-automatic machines. The PT Series offer a full product line of creasers/ crease-fold and slit/cut/crease solutions ranging from entry level machines that provide professional results or more expensive creasers at a fraction of the cost to fully-automatic systems for high-volume shops. There is a PT solution for any job and budget!
PTSCC Slitter/Cutter/Creaser
The Graphic Whizard PT SCC series has been manufactured to meet the needs of the growing number of digital printers who have asked for a highly accurate, low cost, easy to use multi-functional finishing device that can slit, cut, & crease in one pass. Models range from fully automatic to an economical hand-fed SCC machine or a simpler model for business cards only (320CC).
Laminators
Graphic Whizard’s fully automated laminator slits and cuts to finished size, saving hours of trimming and cutting after the laminating process. Designed to meet the demands of the digital short run printer, Graphic Whizard laminators not only cut to bleed but has pouch mode where you can choose your encapsulation size or perform true singled sided laminating with the ability to easily control the curl with the anti-curl device. Automatic setup, productive speeds and the efficient pile feeder makes for a ‘set it and forget it’ laminating experience.
Perfect Binders
These perfect binding systems are easy to use and give excellent results for anyone looking for a short to medium length run solution. These machines are solidly built and include features that are normally standard on more expensive units. Available in EVA and PUR perfect binding models.
UV Coating
The VividCoater is a low maintenance ultra violet cured coating system that produces a high quality finish to the printed sheet. With a wide range of finish options, including matte to high gloss, UV coating not only makes printed products lively and brilliant, but also offers powerful protection against friction and fading. Compared to conventional solvent based coatings the VividCoater produces virtually no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and is considered to be environmentally friendly. This is a positive step forward for the increasingly knowledgeable and environmentally aware consumer marketplace.
By producing richer and more vibrant colors on digitally or offset printed pieces the VividCoater offers the on-demand print market the opportunity to have more effective and expressive printed products at a very low cost per page. Graphic Whizard’s VividCoater offers an impressive new design in the UV coater market which utilizes a minimum amount of work space while ensuring memorable quality, dramatic performance and uninhibited operator ease.
Paper Cutters
The FL Cutters new ball-assist table reduces friction between the stock and the wide stainless steel work surface. Ball assist reduces cost while maximizing productivity, minimizing product loss through stock damage, and reducing operator fatigue which can lead to inefficient use and injury. The high grade cut stick provides maximum use without operator intervention and can be changed easily on the y to minimize downtime. Blade depth can be changed quickly from outside of the machine so there is no need for measurement or lengthy adjustments after a routine sharpening.
Perforating, Scoring, Slitting & Transport Systems
Perforate, score and slit at the entrance of the machine not on an exit shaft. Blades change in seconds without removing any shafts or the blade mount hub. Anvil-style perf provides a burr-free, flat finish. Individually adjust the depth of each perf / score / slit independently.
Feeding Systems: the friction fed model uses a top feeding system that virtually eliminates scuffing and allows for the machine to be loaded while running. For delicate or glossy stocks where scuffing must be avoided, the horizontal air fed machine is recommended. The friction fed system can be upgraded, on site, to an air fed model by a qualified technician.
Folders
Graphic Whizard folders are complete crease/perf/fold finishing systems designed to give users professional quality finished pieces while eliminating inefficient set-up time. Strike perf capabilities make them rare folding machines that can “T” perf or box “perf”, and then either fold or output onto the bypass tray. Automated set-up through touchscreen control or using the 64 job memory means a quick job changeover, even for one time jobs. Eliminate cracking, offer more versatility, reduce set up times, and deliver high quality results all with less operator intervention.
